Rain, Laughter, and Love: Sammy & Alex’s Beautiful Countryside Wedding

Let’s dive into yesterday’s wedding! I’d love to say the sun was shining and everyone basked in golden rays, but Mother Nature had other plans—rain, and lots of it! Yet, nothing could dampen the joy of Sammy and Alex’s big day. 

Embracing their countryside roots, the couple tied the knot at the charming St. Andrew’s Church in Colne Engaine. Despite the drizzle, the clouds parted just long enough for the all-important moments: their heartfelt ceremony, couple portraits, and some family shots. The day’s vibe? Pure countryside magic. 

After the ceremony, it was time to head back to a marquee set up in a parent’s garden. Think cozy, rustic elegance with incredible food from the brilliant @coggeshallcateringcompany and lively evening entertainment courtesy of @djajessex. The rain might have made things a bit muddier than planned (shoutout to the suppliers who braved the sludge!), but it didn’t stop guests from dancing, laughing, and celebrating this unforgettable day. 

Sammy and Alex’s wedding was a joy to capture—so much personality, love, and those little moments that make countryside weddings so special. I’m still picking mud off my trousers and drying out my boots, but I wouldn’t change a thing!
